Core information about ZENITH, its Interlude foundation, the Essence Wolf 509 client, and the project’s direction.
ZENITH is a custom Lineage II project built on the Interlude chronicles familiar to many players and running on the modern Essence Wolf 509 client.
We preserve the familiar Interlude foundation, but we are not trying to make an exact copy. For us, these chronicles are the starting point from which the project will continue to grow.
Interlude Is Our Foundation
ZENITH retains the familiar Interlude classes, skills, equipment, character progression, economy, and game world.
At the same time, the project will not remain permanently limited by the features and decisions of the original chronicles. We want to preserve their strengths, correct their weaknesses, and gradually move the game forward.
The modern 509 client gives us more opportunities to develop the project, add new content, and improve familiar game systems.
What We Change and Develop
Development of ZENITH includes:
- rebalancing skills and classes
- changing the characteristics of weapons, armor, and other items
- reconsidering the value of equipment across different grades
- adjusting the economy, drops, and spoil
- changing item creation and the enchantment system
- improving familiar game systems
- adding new items, mechanics, and content
Changes are not introduced simply to make the project different from the original game. They should make character progression clearer, preserve the value of different classes and items, and give players more interesting goals.
Our Goal
Our goal is to create an evolving version of Lineage II that preserves the spirit and identity of Interlude without standing still.
We want to improve balance, refine existing systems, introduce new mechanics, and gradually expand the game world.
ZENITH should remain easy to understand for fans of classic Lineage II while offering its own direction, new possibilities, and refreshed gameplay.
