Gear Score
How equipment and upgrades increase Gear Score, which items count, and how character rankings work.
Gear Score (GS) measures the progression of your character’s equipment. It combines equipped items, their enchantment and upgrade levels, installed crystals, and applied dyes.
What increases Gear Score
| What counts | How GS increases |
|---|---|
| Weapons, armor, and shields | Grade and enchantment level |
| Regular and epic jewelry | Jewelry type and enchantment level |
| Cloaks, belts, talismans, and agathions | Enchantment and progression levels, depending on the item |
| Jewels, pendants, brooches, and bracelets | Higher levels through synthesis |
| Aden and Hardin crystals | The level of crystals installed in your weapon |
| Dyes | The level of applied dyes |
Only equipment in use counts: items in your inventory do not add points. Regular equipment contributes GS from C-grade onward; special equipment contributes from its initial progression stage.
Character rankings
Characters can join the Gear Score rankings from level 40, after completing their second class transfer. Compare your progress in the server, race, class, clan member, and friend lists — each displays up to 100 characters.
High positions in the overall and race rankings grant additional bonuses. First place on the server, within a race, and within a class is marked with a special emblem.
Detailed ranking rules
- Updates: your personal GS changes when you change or upgrade equipment; ranking positions refresh every 5 minutes.
- Inactivity: after 7 days away, a character is removed at the next ranking update. On returning, the character regains the position appropriate to their GS.
